    no it has not.

but the size of the professional athletes contract has more than tripled in size. in the case of a-rod, his contract probably doubles ten times the highest contract of 1986.

also look at what i said about golf tournament payouts. used to be back in 86 a guy won 200,000 for winnin the masters, now they pull upwards of 3 millions.

inflation in terms of what we pay our athletes has been exceeding the level of inflation in the economy for a long long time.

i think that *** is the richest boxer in the history rite now.what ya all think?
For biggest paydays, look no further than the heavyweight division.

And the fight, (already mentioned) - Lewis vs Tyson.

I thought I heard them say last night that Hatton got 30 mil for the Hatton fight. This is including the 400k people bought the Sky Sports PPV in England.. That's pretty high if you ask me.

It was 1.4 million that bought the PPV for that fight.

My Prediction is Oscar De La Hoya who had 32 million reasons to smile even when he got ktfo by Hopkins..i truly beleived he didnt deserved that much money in a single fight from the way he fought like a ***** and took off with 32 million dollars of fans money.
that 32 million was nothing compared to the 58 million he received for fighting mayweather
