This sorta' makes me feel like a mainstream fan, as the only fights we order over here are ones involving either Pacquiao, Mayweather, or Cotto.

I DO watch friday night fights and Showtime/HBO regularly. So it's not as if I'm ONLY watching their fights.

If I had more money, I'd be shelling out for Hopkins/Dawson and Pacquiao/Márquez III, but we're saving for Cotto/Margarito II...

About the Pacquiao vs Cotto rematch. A lot of people don't want to see.

They absolutely believe that if Pacquiao and Cotto fight 100 times. Pacquiao takes Cotto's soul 100 times. I don't see anything wrong with it as a fan of Pacquiao but I think differently than most.

I think Pacquiao vs Cotto in 154lbs is a different story. It'll be a grueling slugfest just like the Pacquiao vs Margarito fight. The pendulum in this fight can swing both ways for either fighter winning the fight.

I re searched number and cotto vs mosley was 400k. So that gives him 450, 400 and 250k. The next highest were jones vs calzaghe at 250k marquez diaz 2 at 200k. So with ease he is 3rd biggest draw in the USA having the top 3 ppv buys not involving pacquiao or mayweather

I dont think they should rematch and I dont think alot of pacquiao and mayweather opponenets should happen. But they dont care and neither do the promoters its about what makes the most money not what fans are happy with. Even though Cotto is not a top ten fighter at this moment besides them fighting each other if cotto wins his next fioght there is no one else who can bring in hte numbers that he will. I think pac beats him again in rmeatch and mayweather outboxes him. But that has nothing to do with the money part.

Out of Margarito, Clottey, De La Hoya, and Cotto, I thought Cotto gave Pac the best fight. Cotto basically trained himself for the fight. Not to mention Cotto is trained by Steward now.

I know Cotto and his uncle didn't get along, but I feel that Cotto was best with his uncle. The fights Cotto fought without his uncle and Steward, I don't think Cotto was at his best.

I noticed that Hopkins, Calzaghe, Jones Jr, Marquez, Mosley and all other fighters not named Pacquiao or Mayweather do horrible on ppv buys. In the last 4 years the top 3 ppv buys that did not involve pacquiao or mayweather were

1. Cotto vs mosley = 500k
2. Cotto vs margarito = 450k
3. Cotto vs Mayorga = 250k

If this is true and please let me know if there was a ppv with higher numbers not involving pac or mayweather how much ppv buys will the rematch with margarito 2 get and even though he is not a top ten p4p fighter what is the reason why mayweather or pacquiao wont fight him as it seems like he is biggest draw besides them.

Cotto-Mosley did 330k if I remember correctly. Somewhat disappointing but still not too bad for a guy that hardly speaks English headlining his 2nd PPV.

Cotto is the 3rd biggest draw in America. Not only does he do respectable PPV numbers but when he fights on WCB's he also does some of the highest ratings. And he can draw at the gate in Vegas and in NY.
