^^^This... But Manny has lost that desire, imo. If his 4 lineal claim is in trouble, I'm pretty sure he'll be more up to the challenge to get his 5th.
He can still get that 5th lineal belt if and when he fights Floyd at WW.

JMM wanted this fight at WW, Manny granted him a 144 CW.
JMM wanted to make mexican history, hence the reason he wants Pac's belt at WW.

thats true. marquez did accept the fight at 147. plus it would be a greater win for marquez if he does beat pac at WW as opposed to pac going down two weight classes to fight marquez. I would have preferred if the fight was at 140 though, but then again marquez can weigh-in at 140 1/2 or 141 if he wanted to and pac will probably weigh in at around 142 or 143.

Of course he can make 135, but why should he??

Why drop to 135 then back up again for his next fight?

Marquez called out Manny, so it's up to him to meet him at his weight.

I call bullsh**. Not effectively he can't.

Pacquiao's certainly not a welterweight, but I doubt he could get down to lightweight anymore without being drained.

Doubt it. People will actually wonder why Pacquiao would fight in a lower weight than he is already dominating. All the casual fans knew is that these 2 boxers have had 2 wars already and this one for sure will also be.

Manny is imitating the footsteps of Mayweather. Perhaps Pac will cheat in the scales too come day of the weigh-in.
