i read somewhere that tyson was measured between 1400-1600 psi. i also read that lacy was near 1200.
According to Kevin Rooney, Tyson's power was never measured, nor would he be allowed to be measured because if he was injured, it would make them look foolish...MONEY is to be made in fights, not punching some machine to test your ego. Rooney said, Bill Cayton would of never allowed it, not worth the chance of injury.
The biggest punchers of that era meaning biggest 'one punch' and not combination power would have been Bonecrusher Smith and Razor Ruddock. Guys who would put literally put you to sleep with one punch. More recently Lewis and Tua come to mind. Tyson never had devastating one punch power.
