Holmes was old, and if Holmes would of retired afterwards I would of probably thought that Larry's chin was not the same, but time and fights showed that even an older Larry Holmes would only be knocked out by Mike Tyson.

It's kind of hard to judge Tyson because he was still so young, his body, though appearing matured, was probably not at its fully maturity; reaching full maturity in the mid to late 20's is when a "man" knows his true strength. By the time he came out of prison, who knows how much it took out of his once great potential strength.
