    mma fans been dissing boxing over the "sucker punch"

    i just saw a poster, that someone made for UFC 135, and it said

    UFC= No Cheap Shots

    Real Fighters

    Step in to the Octagon

          Ten years ago MMA was cool and had real fighters...now it is just a joke for fat bald kids at bars to run around telling people "I'm an MMA fighter." It is catered to the rubes in the south aka the WWE crowd.

              I really don't blame them. With the bloated compubox numbers, scripted choke hold during weigh in, and then finally the infamous sucker punch which can be seen as a fix...

              them guys stepping into the octagon are real warriors who don't pick and choose who they fight. They fight who they are told.

                      I still can't believe how ****** HBO makes the fans out to be. Between that and fixed fights and biased, rambling commentators, they are ruining the sport and preventing any new fans from seriously following the sport.

                              I have heard regular nobodies, people who are certainly not intelligent fans of any sport, speaking very critically of pugilism because of the Mayweather/Ortiz end. It is not exclusive to Zuffa fanboys.

                                  At least in MMA, you get more money's worth. I love boxing but their's no guys out there today that i love. At least the guys in the UFC fight each other to prove their the best...sadly, the amount of belts on offer and the politics in boxing...

                                  I think boxing fans are just butt hurt that the UFC is getting more exposure for doing the right things.
