As it is, DLH was headlining PPVs in his 18th fight.

Floyd was well into his 35th fight by the time he got his first.

And no, the Gatti fight was built off of Arturos name, not Floyds.

You can't be king until you actually surpass his numbers.
Floyd Mayweather being introduced to the world on the first season of 24/7 is what sold that fight more than anything.

fact is Oscars biggest PPV was with mayweather involved....that is fact. Oscar was sooooo bug yet he never got close to 2.4 ppv buys UNTIL he fought Mayweather??

Mayweather-Ortiz did more than Pacquiao-de La Hoya

you want to know whats sad, you tell the world your the draw, yet steve kim reports that you purchased extra tickets for your fight so you could match the Mosley Pac gate.....

I mean if your the draw, you dont need to do that, and lets be real how often do you see the majority of Floyd fans actually present at his fights? usally the numbers tend to come from his opponents fan base.

Lets see if Mayweather vs Clottey can sell out Cowboy stadium

I feel you but I'm under the agreement that hardcore boxing enthusiasts care about every single aspect of the game... From fantasy matchups, contract issues, the fights themselves, the after math, press conferences, marketing and advertising, and even PPV numbers.

Especially on a forum solely meant for boxing.

what does that have to do with Floyd purchasing tickets to match the Pacquiao gate? he says he is part promoter okay well then tickets wouldnt cost that much as you would likely get a discount....

and again Mayweathers tickets may cost more, but not many of his fans purchase them the majority that do are usually his opponents fan base Boy
