Ruiz took a dive against Toney

    LOL... not really

He tried to take many dives and make many hugs but that did not work.

Toney is the ultimate boxer, the best boxer I have seen in terms of skill.

            hmm

Toney is good but he has faded. He was able to beat Ruiz because Ruiz himself is faded and was obviously not in great shape for the fight, nor did he fight his normal style (although thank God for that).

Ruiz in shape with his normal style can beat Toney by UD and on their fight had success in the first half. But Ruiz finally fell to the call of his detractors who want him to brawl instead of hug and so he lost. Toney is interesting to watch at heavyweight but he will lose if he steps it up. Problem is, there are only a couple guys whihc could be considered "stepping it up" in this crap division. Either Klitschko would take him easily and Brock and Brewster would have a fair chance as well.

Are you mad that Toney is a better heavyweight than Roy ever could have been?

It would be very concievable to me that Ruiz made no effort to win against Jones. But this thread is just silly. Toney whipped him. And with only 1 arm.

did you see Toney/Guinn? complete technical domination. i don't agree and i think you're underestimating the skill he still has with a statement like that.
