i have a very hard time thinking of 20+ heavyweights to put ahead of him.

Can't say i have a list, but i have a quite firm idea of how i would put 1-10,10-15 fluctuates and 15-20 even more so.

Could you list 20 hw's thats ahead of wlad, or is that too much to ask for?
        It's always an interesting read.

(if he do go 3 more years undefeated thats roughly 17 successful title defenses without losing (at 2 fights/year). Thats quite significant.

Most definitely. He is a great HW who has come through adversity and the pain of defeat. The thing that really impresses me about Wlad is that he managed to rectify his faults almost completely and go on to be, save for his brother, completely dominant in his era.

It takes balls and real character to do that, and he deserves all the credit in the world. He is a wonderful champion and probably the sports best ambassador.

I have him ranked 78th, but at best he could be somewhere between 20-30. The main strike against Wlad is he's the only guy with a 6'8 bodyguard to protect him from tough fights. If Frazier had this luxury hed probably have only 1 loss with an impeccable record.

Anyways here's 22 HWs greater than Wlad in no order:

              1. Lennox Lewis
              2. Max Schmelling
              3. Joe Louis
              4. Bob Fitzsimmons
              5. George Foreman
              6. John L Sullivan
              7. Max Baer
              8. Sonny Liston
              9. Mike Tyson
              10. Vitali Klitschko
              11. Muhammad Ali
              12. Harry Wills
              13. Gene Tunney
              14. Rocky Marciano
              15. Jack Dempsey
              16. Rid**** Bowe
              17. Joe Frazier
              18. Larry Holmes
              19. Jack Johnson
              20. Samuel Langford
              21. Gentleman Jim Corbett
              22. Evander Holyfield

So now we're ranking with p4p criteria in mind within a weightclass?

I guess you're probably trolling, but whatever. I'll humor you.

Exactly what makes Sullivan, Fitzimmons, Baer, Bowe or freaking vitali greater as heavyweights than wladimir?

bowe might beat wlad H2H... but i think wlad is greater then Bowe resume/legacy wise....

Vitali is one of probably the Greatest H2H HW of all time and could give any heavyweight in any era a run for there money, but resume/legacy wise he is not up there with little brother...

If you were ranking Russian leaders would you put Vladimir ***** over Ivan the Terrible(First Tsar of Russia)? Just because ***** has access to nukes and tanks, does that make him greater than Ivan? I dont think so.

***** has nukes, Wlad has access to "sports medicine" and advanced training techniques. 100 years from now there will be athletes with even better "sports medicine" and training techniques. How will Wlad stand up to those guys? So you kinda have to rank these guys on overall greatness and not how big they are.
