and of course he does. why wouldnt he? but pirog is not at all helping his case with his recent fights. there are other fights out there for pirog. fights against legit opponents. but he refuses to fight them. so when sergio says who is pirog, pirog has very little to come back on. thats the problem with the middleweight division. no1 wants to fight anyone but martinez. that applies to all of them.
Does he refuse to fight them? I dont know enough about his situation to really know. Who is there really to fight at 160?

And WTF does his age have to do with how much in ring experience he has? He has still had only nineteen fights.

        You are beneath ******.
no one this, no one that. he cant get a fight with martinez. not the end of the world. there are other ppl in the division. and age has a lot to do with it. like i said before, hes not a prospect. 19 fights is more than enough. shut up and go make another floyd hate thread or sumthin lame ass.

theres geale, theres rubio, kid chocolate, golovkin. does he refuse to fight them? it appears that his management team is content with keeping him in russia fighting fighters hes clearly superior to. i dunno if he refuses to or not, but they definitely have not went outta their way to make these fights happen. no excuses for pirog. honestly why ppl make excuses for him is beyond me. i kno at least kid chocolate said he was willing to fight pirog. so that fight can be made.

            Golovkin v Pirog
i think so, i'm not 100% sure though. he's being trained by abel sanchez and spars with saul alvarez. from what i remember reading of him, he's got some promo issues where he isn't fighting in the states yet. i'm sure once he's able to, he'll be a big name at 160. sturm has the 'super' wba strap while golovkin has the regualr wba one.

yeah, peter quillin has been trying to talk himself into a martinez fight. lou dibella said it clearly what he needs to do though. he said fight pirog, beat him, and you get martinez. let's hope if it happens, the winner gets martinez, not just "if" quillin wins. that'd be a pretty good fight for both guys though, quillin and pirog, let's see if it comes close to being discussed.

What about HBO? They basically threw him under the bus after he KOed their hypejob, Jacobs. They didnt even bring a damn translator for him. He puts in a breakout performance with a stunning KO and HBO does nothing. Gotta keep those millions in Berto and Alexanders pockets I guess!

There's alot of quality guys to fight there just not household names or known in the states but promoters hold off on putting there charges in there when they feel there could be too much too lose even though it stifles the sport but what can you do really it is a business first after all.

Of course, we all know Chavez will never fight a real top five middleweight.
I doubt Sturm or Martinez fight him anytime soon. Sturm seems content fighting over in Germany (Would Pirog want to fight there, knowing he'd probably need a KO to win?) and Martinez is looking for a big $$$ fight. Too much risk, too little reward IMO for them to fight Pirog. Agree on the Chavez Jr. comment, no way the BobFather lets him near a credible opponent anytime soon.

If Andy Lee gets past Vera next weekend, I wouldn't mind seeing him take on Pirog next.

I really dont get all the complaining here. Until a year ago none of you knew who the guy was. He has only just come to peoples attention, is fighting regularly and has just got his mando out of the way. Whats the problem?
