The southern California based fighter has been mentioned as a possible opponent for WBA lightweight champion Brandon Rios (28-0, 21KOs). Molina told BoxingScene that he is confident the fight with Rios will come to fruition.

i agree, molina's a cool cat, but his defense is horrible and would get crushed by rios. perhaps he should work on it and see if a fight is available later in 2012. if not, fight whoever has the belt at that time. right now, i don't see molina making it to the 3rd.
