Just watched the replay if Mayweather vs Ortiz..

I can't believe that some of you don't think victor was a live dog in that fight. He clearly went in to touch gloves and went on for a hug only once! You could see on Floyds face he was going to sucker punch him. Then with dumb truck Cortez looking away Floyd got even.
The thing that amazes me is that while Ortiz was clearly taking some steps back after hugging Floyd that is when Floyd took advantage and sucker punched him.
Now I ask all you on this forum (even super fans of Floyd who see no wrong in whatever he does like Larold xxxx and the infamous vagina ros) when have you ever seen a fighter go in to apologize and while taking steps back hold his gloves up to protect himself? It's ok I'll wait....
    Didn't think so.
At the post fight press conference Floyd was asked of he heard Cortez say the word fight an Floyds answer was he was taught to protect yourself at all times leading us o believe that if you have a braincell you would understand that he never heard Cortez say fight but he was going to cheap shot him anyways.

this fight didnt add any legacy to floyds resume. it may probably even tarnished it. that's why im betting on mayweather fighting again soon. for sure he doesnt want to wrap up his career with this win.

Basically if a fighter touches gloves or hugs, there's a an unwritten rule to wait for the fighter to set his feet in a fighting stance position. When Floyd hit him he wasn't yet in fighting stance position he was still all squared up. He can't even counter even if victor wanted to, his feet wasn't set yet, that is why it was called a cheap shot.

Shit, the better I guess . On the real, Floyd didn't seem satisfied with that victory.

As for the topic, Ortiz was never in it, get over it man.

          What fight did you see?

Ortiz reached out his left glove to Floyd the first time. Floyd tapped it, while staring at him with a "WTF was that all about" face, in disgust and checking for blood on his mouth.

Second time, Ortiz went for a hug, and kiss on Floyd's cheek. Mayweather did nothing yet.

Third time, Cortez signals the "time in" sign with his hands, while looking at the time keeper. Ortiz goes and hugs Mayweather a third time, Mayweather this time takes advantage of this hug, makes believe he's genuinely going for a hug, on;y to deck Ortiz with a left hook, right hand combo after the bitter hug was over.

So, you sir, have to go and watch the fight again if you only saw one hug fro Ortiz.

Well that is what I'm trying to say. People are over reacting and saying Ortiz wanted to kiss him, ****** Kizer was so unprofessional in his statement saying Vic went in there three or four times. Its obvious that Floyd has Kizer in his back pocket and good for him.
Vic took his licks and took it like a champ. Everyone is talking sh it about Vic but he showed class. Too bad he didn't show it with that headbutt

Re watching the fight, it was allot more competitive than the first time i saw it but it did confirmed to me that victor ortiz was a little *****. idk who said it but the kid is weak mentally he broke down and resorted to fighting dirty.

***On a side note, i love how they blended 24/7 with the replay of the fight. kinda reminded me of when they did those documentary about famous fights on HBO.

Floyd got him for the blunt headbutt with the 1st left hook. But then came the right hand and that was my problem. It wan't a 1 2 combo, their was a second in between and after the left hook, Ortiz didn't cover himself or duck. He decided to take the next punch a clear desicion He made IMO to quit. Then He didn't attempt to get up.
I'm sorry, but after watching it again, Ortiz found a way out of the fight.
