Rios' opponent is up in the air, but names like Kevin Mitchell, Roman Martinez and John Molina Jr. have all been mentioned during the last few weeks.
Either one of the 3 would make for a good fight against Rios, but Brandon would steamroll through all of them.

Not too interested in Ramos vs. Rigondeaux... Neither of them can or want to fight on the inside.

Cordoba had Rigondeaux on his bike for the entire second halfof the fight because Ricardo found that out and knocked him down. Ramos arguably lost to Alejandro Valdez because he couldn't stop Valdez from getting inside.

2 counter punchers, who hold and run to avoid fighting on the inside... The only fight that would be worse than this is Broner vs. Rigondeaux.

Ramos vs. Rigendeaux would have been a boring ass fight anyway. Good to see Rios on the card and hopefully they put him in with someone who likes to brawl.

I know it wouldn't be the best fight to watch for entertainment value - but the fact that two young, extremely talented guys would be going at it is a RARITY these days. . .

arum you dumbass - you knew good and well rico wouldn't take 105k, when he could go to a purse bid and get 75 percent of the damn purse because he is the champion. . . you jsut screwed yourself now - you're gonna get rigo a lot less money. . . you're really starting to piss me off you piggly sumbytch

If this is true... I cant believe a guy who has had only 8 pro fights is making more than a 100k a fight and Rico as well.. WOW! Al Haymon shld be manager of the year.. Mickey Garcia made over 100k when he was the co main event of Jr and Zbik, these guys are making money like that.. THan just make it happen... If Goosen think that Rico is worth 225k, than WOW! He is the most unrealisitic person ever... LEt see who Rios will fight, is it me or would Gamboa and Rios be nice.. Or Katsidis and Rios, its time for us to see what Rios is really made of... He's got some pop in his punch and has decent angles, but a fight with those two will be electric.. Since Arum promotes Gamboa and Rios be sick fight..

lol arum screwed rigo - now he's only gonna get 25% of the purse bid. . . smart move by rico actually. . . if arum would hvae just played him straight from the beginning, he would have remained on the undercard, and helped hype up his main event. . . his greediness backfired

It will be Rios vs Molina Jr.

Rocky Martinez said he will stay at 130 and Mitchell is looking to fight Katsidis again
