Floyd is going LOCO, wants to fight the Klitschkos

Floyd Mayweather has taunted Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao by saying he would rather move up to the heavyweight division to fight the Klitschko brothers than 'beat up' rivals at his own weight.

Forget Khan and Pacquiao... I'll fight the Klitschkos! Mayweather taunts rivals again

Floyd Mayweather has taunted Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao by saying he would rather move up to the heavyweight division to fight the Klitschko brothers than 'beat up' rivals at his own weight.

The self-styled 'Money' Mayweather appeared once again to dismiss any chances of a superfight with either man by suggesting a totally unrealistic bout against one of the huge Ukrainians was still preferable to fighting them.

He said: 'I'm tired of beating up these guys. I'm thinking of moving up to the heavyweights and fighting the Klitschko brothers.'

The American superstar knocked out Victor Ortiz in Las Vegas last weekend in controversial circumstances. Ortiz had lowered his hands to apologise for a headbutt and Mayweather took advantage to land two unanswered shots and put his opponent out for the count.

But the five-weight world champion is running out of credible opponents given his continued refusal to face pound-for-pound king Pacquiao.

************************************************** ***********Chicken floyd goes from "Pacquiao you next" to "I never said that, don't put words into my mouth" to "Of course I contradict myself, I'm only human"... Everyone knows a fight with the Klitchkos aint gonna happen, he'd think the public might throw some praise over that bravado, there will always be an excuse after another. Pacman vs chickenboy aint gonna happen either, people should just quit pushing or dreaming for it....and the so called boxing experts offering their analysis of how a talented chicken will school the Pacman....quit over it, it's getting boring.

The newspaper that printed this story is normally good on sports but always makes a big deal about race issues and immigration. In fact in the 1930s it openly supported fascism as a global movement and its publisher Lord Rothermere made pretty shocking statements when you look back at that period:

Lord Rothermere was a friend and supporter of both Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler, which influenced the Mail's political stance towards them during the 1930s. Rothermere's 1933 leader "Youth Triumphant" praised the new **** regime's accomplishments, and was subsequently used as propaganda by them.

"The minor misdeeds of individual ****s would be submerged by the immense benefits the new regime is already bestowing on Germany (1933)."
                —Lord Rothermere, publisher

Rothermere and the Mail were also editorially sympathetic to Oswald Mosley and the British Union of *******s. Rothermere wrote an article entitled "Hurrah for the Blackshirts" in January 1934, praising Mosley for his "sound, commonsense, Conservative doctrine". This support ended after violence at a BUF rally in Kensington Olympia later that year.

Like you suggest, it was just a joke on twitter these papers are not fit to wipe your backside with on some issues.
