David Reid fullfilled his potential, he won an aplphabet belt and scored a ppv gig against tito all with a swollen/half closed/druppy/dopidy eye...how much farther was a guy like Reid going to go?

Michael Nunn is one guy who had A LOT going for him. Like Mike Tyson, Nunn lost out at the 1984 Olympic Trials and 1984 Olympic Box-Offs (Nunn lost two out of three times to Virgil Hill to decide who went to the Olympics, but Nunn had already beaten Hill three times previously). Nunn was a tall, talented, rangy southpaw who was improving with every fight in the pro's.. I would say that the 86-88 Nunn had speed and reflexes to rival a prime Roy Jones. But unfortunately, after his million dollar payday from that great win against Kalambay, Nunn became a coke head and never was the same again (becoming a coke head caused him to go tooth and nail with a wasked up Iran Barkley).

The 86-88 Nunn would beat the 160 Roy Jones every time, but drugs got him. Had Nunn fought Hagler instead of Leonard fighting Hagler, I believe Nunn would of won every round.

and i believe if Gatti had started to box like he did against ward in the 2nd fight earlier in his career he would of been different

Panchito Bojado was the latest big one imo.

He had all the tools, hand speed, power, skill, decent chin,

but he lacked instinct and a mind of his own.

Danny Williams has lots of talent, but his flaky mentality has held him back.
