    Alvarado-Prescott on Pacquiao undercard

Mike Alvarado will be taking on Breidis Prescott on the undercard of Pacquiao-Marquez on November 12. It's a good fight for Alvarado, who really needs a bigger to fight and to step up in class, and I actually like who Top Rank matched him up with. Prescott is not as good as Maidana, Bradley, Khan, or Peterson...but he showed he's still a viable opponent for someone moving up in ranks with his controversial loss to McCloskey.

Should Alvarado get a title shot if he beats Prescott??? If he wins, he will have beaten one of WBA's top ranked Jr. Welterweights (Prescott) and one of WBC's top ranked Jr. Welterweights (Narh). I think if he beats Prescott, which he should, he should get a fight with Judah or Cayo, and than a title shot in the summer of 2012. The guy is 31, he will be turning 32 in July 2012, he needs his shot. Granted, with his prison stints and only 31 fights, he's a lot fresher than other 31 year old fighters.

What do you think of this match up with Prescott, and do you think he should get a title shot if he wins???
