I want to see boxing in LA CA - where do I go?

    Dudes:

I want to go to live fights in my area, I don't care if the fighters are unknown but I can't seem to find anything about where to go - except the big fights in Vegas.

Anyone know where I'd go to see live fights regularly, in and around LA - or where they're advertised? I'm in the San Fernando Valley.

    Thanks - rev

Check schedules by boxrec.com or *********.com. On boxrec.com you can sort the schedule by venue and you will see all the fights that are scheduled for a particular venue.

boxrec.com or *********.com - thanks dude!

I don't think you need championship fights to have a great night out and you can see great fights between unknowns any day of the week.

I was a newcomer to it when I went to see a title bout in Reseda on Sherman Way, it was the best night out I ever had!

Food and drink was reasonable, guys brought their whole families, everyone smoked cigars (whether they did or not) there were plenty of fights and the ring girls got most of the applause - it was great and I want to take my dad one day.

        Thanks for the tip.

Saw 'Million Dollar Baby' - Morgan and Clint were fun but I was sorry that she never once went to shake hands with her opponent after the fight - Mike always kissed 'em.

I don't know if boxrec is going to be that detailed, they have the most complete schedule around but I don't know if they'll have local fights listed. I think that local boxing gym are going to have a lot better list.
