anyone on Vitali's level, coming down and fighitng on Hayes level, would make him the joke of a fighter just like haye.........

sorry but NO ONE NEEDS YOU GHAYE, go and retire, model mens underwear, and shut the **** up........

you ruined any and all chances of being respected and or liked after your super mega trash talking, WITHOUT BACKING UP ANY OF IT UP..........

the boxing world doesn't need useless **** talkers like ghaye........ if he still has some attention whoring he needs to fulfill, he should go to professional wrestling, where his words are all he needs!!!!

The point is that getting on his bike is the only thing he's any good at, against tall opponents. He lunges, he throws wide looping punches that leave him badly off balance, he barely uses his jab, he totally lacks the skills to get past his opponent's jab and fight on the inside. His punches frequently missed Wlad by several feet, which was just laughable for someone claiming to be a top 10 fighter. His workrate is also pathetic, and he rarely punches in combinations or feints effectively, at least at world class level. He is one of the worst boxers technically in the Heavyweight division, at least among the top 20 or so. His only strengths are his speed and athleticism (which are admittedly truly exceptional for a Heavyweight), his head movement, and his huge punch, none of which have anything to do with technical skills. His footwork is reasonable but far from outstanding. Both Vitali and Wlad have far better technical skills than Haye, especially Wlad.

I've read some bull**** in this thread.
True David Haye let everyone down and became a pure joke after the Wlad fight after saying for 3 years that Wlad's a robot(which he is) and he was gonna knock him out.
But at least Haye has the b*ll*cks to get in the ring with the best, Unlike your boy Floyd Gayweather Jnr!!!

Mayweather says 'i'm the greatest', 'noone can beat me', 'i'm better than Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson', 'i'm the best on the planet'
Floyd ducks Margarito when he was WBO champ for about 4 years and chasing Floyd (says he's on steroids), He ducks Mosley for years until 2010 when Shane was 28, He ducked Miguel Cotto when he was champ and knocking everyone out, Now he's ducking Pacquiao saying he's on steroids. Floyd, i think the steroids are a little closer to home bro.....
At least Haye fights the Best fighters in his division at the first possible oppurtunity, he fought all the best in the Cruiserweight and wasa unified World Champ, and he fought Valuev in his second Heavyweight fight and Wladimir in his fifth. We all expected more from Haye in that fight but Wlad was too big, tall, athletic and fought the perfect fight to win on points.
I think the Haye vs Vitali fight will be a much tighter affair as Vitali will trade with Haye, is slower and would be a much better fight for David than Wlad was.

Oh and Vitali does want the fight. At every Haye fight in the Heavyweight - Barrett, Valuev, Ruiz, Harrison and Klitschko, Vitali was there watching and/or commentating at every one. Vitali is going to retire soon and so is Haye (unfortunately), so the fight makes sense and Vitali says how jealous he was that his brother was fighting Haye. For money reasons alone it would make great sense for Vitali to fight him.
It was Wlad that was running scared for 2 years

                  wlad ducked haye? HAHAHAHA .......

He is technically a better boxer than Wladimir and Vitali but the size is an issue.

If you watch it back Haye does beat Wlad to the jab on more than a few occasions and hurt him in the 12th which is more than can be said of most recent opponents and regardless of the mickey taking, Haye did have a broken toe which would affect you.

His pre fight talk is what has led many to call him 'an ass' etc etc and he has held his hands up in many an interview and said he talks the talks and normally walks the walk but didnt this time. He'd destroy pretty much every heavyweight right now except the Klitschko's
                    Agree with this, good post.

And where did I say 'getting on your bike' makes Haye the better technically?
Disagree with this, Haye should have went in when it was clear he was losing the fight (say from rounds 10-12), he didn't, preferring instead to box to a 12 round defeat and go public with excuses about the ref/little toe (however valid it was the wrong time).

Who knows, if he had taken the risk he could've beat Wlad who was rocked a couple of times. Win or lose, he needs to leave it all in the ring v Vitali if he gets the chance to fight him, no regrets and leave with pride and respect.

Best and most realistic description I have read on this forum of Haye as a heavyweight.
