Wait....Isn't that the same exact thing that GBP alleged during their court battle with Top Rank? They were saying that Top Rank officials weren't being 100% honest about the proceeds of events. The only people who believe those "$20 million guarantees" that Arum says are the pudgy midgets jerking off to photos of their illiterate congressman.

When Floyd says he has a $25 million guarantee, you can verify that on the NSAC contract.

Arum says manny has a $20 million guarantee, and then you check the contract, and it's actually $6 million.

What I want to know is why do promoters even get paid so much? They don't do anything that a manager or accountant couldn't do. Any rich guy could wake up one day and decide to become a promoter. In my opinion boxing would be a lot better off with less promoters and less belts.

Basically the promoter plays the part of a venture capitalist. They are basically just putting money up front and hoping to make a generous return of the fighters hard work. Fighters probably would be better off directly negotiating with HBO, Showtime, and others. TR and GBP do nothing but spread propaganda and hold up the fights that we want to see.
