Perhaps this is why Floyd cherrypicked him. He knew Ortiz is too nice to complain about anything including a corrupt ref.

Respect for teh Corrales sig. He was a beautiful man.
I loved the headbutt, personally....gave all the reason for Floyd to put that sucka on the floor with da 1-2.....could beat off to that tbh.......

I would make an appreciation thread about the sucka punch....but why would I, Floyd already has the Belt and the W........

42 have tried, 42 have failed......

if I were Ortiz I would have grabbed the stool and busted Floyd upside the head with it. At that point he had already disrespected the sport, you just dont do that kind of **** when someone is trying to show sportsmanship
and it speaks volumes of your own self beleif, you say your the greatest fighter that ever lived, yet you have to cheap shot someone who you have been calling a known quitter.....

Reality is, I see the fight much different than the Floyd fans do, then again they only see Floyd they dont know anything outside of Floyd. The pace Victor had forced, was a very high pace for a mayweather fight, Floyd was forced to up his output in just four rounds he threw more than 200 shots.

And Ortiz you know was starting to step it up and was going to turn it on in the middle rounds smart idea for a guy who likes a slow paced fight, force a faster pace early land body shots here and there turn it on in rounds 6 and 7 sooner or later Floyd is going to take a round off he has never started out a fight throwin that many shots, and most were power shots and Ortiz did a good job of keeping Floyds jab out of it as much as he did and that left hook...

He reduced Floyd to right hands, and when Floyd did open up and unload on him even though Floyd was landing they were not doing the damage Floyd wanted to do and he backed off....

Again the fight was just starting and I think Floyd knew this to, people argue that Ortiz looked for a way out i disagree he was matching the ugly that Floyd brought, However I beleive Floyd threw those shots not knowing if time was in, I think Floyd himself didnt give a **** if he got DQd, to me Floyd wanted out of that fight he didnt want to find out what the later rounds would look like.......
Not against a man 10 years younger and one who has been active, and especially when that man weighs 164.....
