Is Mayweather's EXCESSIVE Elbowing Legal?

I know Mayweather is known for his cheating sucker punch.

But long before that totally cheap, dishonest, and unethical punch, Wifebeater had been elbowing people smack on their faces since 1999. Is it really illegal to keep smashing one's elbows unto people's faces like Floyd does?

How come Floyd has always been getting away with the elbow smash? He used it against Corrales, Hatton, De La Hoya, and every single opponent that he has ever faced. As a matter of fact, the "MAYWEATHER ELBOW" has tipped the scorecards in Floyd's favor in at least 30% of Floyd's fights.

I assume, throwing elbows must be legal, right? Let's forget about the hideous "sucker punch" for now.

How can you name 3 fighters and then say and everybody else? Why not just say everybody? Your post loses valid.
