Cortez had already told Ortiz in the dressing room before the fight that if Floyd uses his elbows to defend himself then it was legit, there were two times in the fight where I saw Floyd extend his elbows and on both occasions they were to defend from those rabbit punches Ortiz was throwing. Ortiz just crying being the inexperienced fighter he is

I think ole Victor may be retarted

This is Victor's 4th explanation, and none of them make a lick of sense because we have instant replay, DVR, and all that. He may not know this because he seems pretty dumb at this point. I feel for the guys on here that agree with him though. Life must be hard being that ******.

How in the hell do you use an elbow which is at your waste to defend against a rabbit punch which is to the back of your head? Do you realize how ****ing ****** that sounds.....

When a fighter turns his head as a shots comming that isnt an intentional rabbit shot....

But forget that I wanna know how you use an elbow to defend against a rabbit shot and as far as I know you can not use your elbow or your forearm at all in a fight not even for defense

            Another thing.

If u have never been in a ring before

DO NOT even comment on this.

Because u have no idea what u are talking about until

            u have been in there.

            Cortez is ****.

And Floyd is a punk *****
You already showed the majority of us, who actually BOX, that you don't know your 101. Not only that but you also showed us how you don't even know how to score a fight. Giving Ortiz the 4th round? Get out of here already!

You and your BS exaggerations just to push your agendas are sickening and too damn comical. "Throwing elbows all night". He had his elbows tucked to his ribs, blocking off the shots most of the time. Did you even care to make a comment on Ortiz' sucker punch too?

If you actually took your time to watch the fight, you would see that Ortiz was already butting and rabbit punching before Floyd "threw them bows".

Now, if you take that important and particular incident where Ortiz deliberately head-butted Floyd and isolate it, you would clearly see that NO elbows were thrown in that moment when the head-butt occurred. Watch the sequence again. It's pretty damn clear that Ortiz was shooked by May's accuracy and quickness. He wanted to either hurt Floyd or get himself out of the fight.

If you post dumbass nonsense again I will dissect it and show them who the punk is. Get real.

Agreed, but we were talking about the headbutt, not the response.

NOBODY who saw that fight should have been confused about the intent behind that butt.

                  1. Mayweather was coming in to fast; therefore, Mayweather caused the clash of heads. It was an accident.

                  2. I lost my cool, I shouldn't have done it.

                  3. Mayweather elbowed me so I retaliated.

For everyone advocating Ortiz's actions, pick one from his list of many excuses. Let's hear it, which one will it be.
Good post, but the reasoning is irrelevant.

The butt was CLEARLY intentional, no question.

He was out of his depth.

A pity that Ortiz never got a chance to solidify his standing at welter.

And a real pity that Pac would not fight him.

                      Ortiz woulda given Pac fits.
