BoxingScene.com has been advised that a "verbal agreement" has been reached for junior welterweight Breidis Prescott (24-3, 19 KOs) to face unbeaten Mike Alvarado (31-0, 22 KOs) on November 12h at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight will be part of the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez HBO pay-per-view. Prescott gets a chance an immediate shot redemption after recently losing a twelve round decision to Paul McCloskey, and Alvarado goes up against the toughest test of his pro career.
