Of course the catch weight is to Pacs advantage!! That's the reason why he fights all these damn catch weight fights because he's trying to get an advantage somehow. If you really p4p you don't need no catch weights. I don't think its pac but roach always trys to find anyway tp get the upperhand and pacquiao doesn't say no.

Anyways I still think this fight will be close because styles make fights and counterpunching pac is always the way to do it.

it was 3 years ago, not anymore, and considering manny is now a WW the catch weight isnt an advantage for him, its not a disadvantage, but he could have just made the fight at WW. why would he move down when he is the king. did floyd meet hatton at a catch weight between 140 and 147.. no.

why did floyd fight jmm at a catchweight ?
i admit, i don;t like catchweights but in most cases they dont effect the outcome of the fight, unless the fighter looks drained, which cotto and margs didnt, oscar did, but manny was also coming up from 135 to 147 so, i think that one was fair.

i dont like floyd personality but as aboxer he is one of the best of all time, great defense,great offense..someone said floyd doesnt fight bigger fighters he fough de la hoya at 154 and won...after watching ortiz fight, i think floyd will Ko manny, and im a manny fan

Manny is a great fighter and should command respect. That being said, i still believe Mayweather would win because of his defense and if you think Manny will win then thats ok also. These guys are the 2 best fighters and fans that disrespect either guy is a complete moron.

I thought that when a boxer agrees to a weight lower than the maximum allowed in his division to fight someone coming from a lower division, it is to lessen his advantage over that opponent and not the other way around. You know, similar to the infamous JMM/Floyd fight.
So, if it involves Manny, whether he has to go up or down, it is always to his advantage.
I think I sense some weird or ****** logic here.

what bothers me is keep saying he really won the 1st2 fights which just isnt true, pac may have knocked jmm down early,ok good knockdowns good score, but jmm simply landed far more leather on manny than manny did on him , 30 punches all power shot in the second fight is alot. and 12 in the first , manny lost those two fights , if manny kos jmm this time around, since jmm is almost 40 and is fighting way out of his wt class, it wont change the fact jmm already beat mannys ass 2 to 1,it bugs me that they say" if we win this fight it somehow changes the outcome of the first 2 fights" thats really delusional,what like time travel or something??? he beat your ass plain and simple your fighting him a 3rd time for that reason manny have some class.gift decisions from the powers that be nothing more.Jmm won more rounds and landed far more punches which is THE NAME OF THE GAME.the decision in the last fight they had was purley political and they used the knockdown as an excuse plain and simple.I can understand the first fight going to manny because there were so many knockdows purley from a technical rule points system but ,again it was all marquez after that for 11 rounds. all politics just like instead of dq'ing gayweather they give him a win in hopes hell fight this guy......both these dude leave a lot of room for criticism both gayweather trash lowlife scumbag, and manny.

There was no controversy and there was no robbery. If you would say there was a robbery, then it would be fair enough for any boxing fan to call you an IDIOT. Again the fight was sooooo close. If you want to see what a controversial decision is, look at Williams-Lara fight.

Ya they were real close, anyone saying that either one dominated either fight is just ******. The way i see it is that marquez landed more, but pac landed the bigger shots and IMO did more damage. I personally believe pac won both fights by 1 point each (and if you want to talk about robbed, pac literally was robbed in the first fight because of a scoring error) - but pac never complained about it. Either way, they were both so close that i wouldn't argue with someone claiming marquez won both fights either...where there is a problem is when someone says that marquez dominated both fights, which is just not true (nor is it true that pac dominated both fights)
