Seriously man you probably wont get a clear answer posting this on a boxing forum.

Id say both are good but IMO nothing can beat the thrill of an action packed boxing match. Yeah some UFC matches can turn into all out wars (Bonnar/Griffin) but for the most part the fights end up on the ground with some sort of sub finish or a quick strike to end things(Liddel/Couture 2). Give me two guys going toe to toe in the middle of a ring any day like Castillo/Corrales 1 with the crowd goins ape**** or even a great pernell whitaker defensive showing. Its stuff like that that will always have me choosing boxing as no 1

Boxing > Pride > UFC

UFC is a fad due to ultimate fighter but it'll phase out in a couple of years when people realize how boring 75% of the fights are.

true. alot of the times there trying to figure out what to throw and it last forever and the ground fighting sometimes takes all day and that could get boring cause u can get knocked out quicker cause of the little padding

i watch UFC 1 or 3 i think.which the jiu jitsu guy dominated it(brazilian i think)

im so proud of this guy.but when he fights a bigger man with a ponytail. and he holds the ponytail all of the time(the jiu-jitsu guy). i lost my respect to this guy and UFC(for holding the hair just to win and the ref doesnt even care). this game is gay.i dont watch it anymore. just my opinion.

I enjoy the UFC, & especially Pride.

But neither will ever enjoy the success boxing has, does, & will.

Boxing's history is a beautiful thing. It can't be touched.
Boxing is a major sport, while MMA is more of an attraction.

MMA events do not make any newspapers, or news-type internet sites.
Maybe it will some day, but not anytime soon.

Does anyone believe they will make Oscar-winning films about MMA someday ?

Boxing is much better, I don't mind watching an occassional UFC fight, but watching to men wrestle around half naked, is pretty gay to me...I understand it takes a certain amount of stamina and skill, but boxing is a real art, while all that other **** is glorified street fighting...

but of course boxing tops them both

the UFC's a crumbling business right now, even tho i'm hooked on that UF2 series. but boxing hands down.
