I think mike jones vs zavec would be an excellent fight for both guys.

As for Alexander, I think he'll beat Malignaggi, but won't be able to beat any of the champions outside of maybe Senchenko, and that fight ain't happening.

Of course not, just what has Alexander done at WW to earn a title shot? Might as well be Khan-Berto If you're gonna take that route..

mike would be a tough fight for zavec. tougher than berto, imo. berto is ridiculously powerful, but mike has good footwork, jab and decent power... he's a very well rounded boxer. zavec would have problems keeping up with him.
in reality i don't see zavec vs. any top rank/gbp boxer. dibella might give him another shot on some undercard though.

Alexander should stay at 140 and take over that division when Kahn leaves. being at the top of that division would give him more leverage for a bigger fight down the road. Just movin straight up to WW is not a good idea. He'll get his a** kicked his first fight and then won't be able to get any significant fight after that. That is as long as he doesn't fight a complete bum, but any of the top 10 WW probably beat alexander

I agree, Berto will whoop alexander' ass badly, we might even see a KO.

Would rather see Alexander/Malignaggi at this point TBH. Atleast the pre-fight hype would be entertaining.... Paulie, and his thousand mile-per-hour guido talk - and Kevin "the ventriloquist" Cunningham.

And it seems the best bet and bigger rivalry fight for Ortiz would be a rematch with Berto IMO. I can't see Mayweather really giving a rematch to Ortiz. And honestly, I can't imagine too many people (especially casual fans) wanting to pay PPV dollars for that fight. And we all know Floyds motto: If it don't make dollars, it don't make sense.
