@ Larry: Froch can stick a stiff jab and is rangey.. He's also no slouch in terms of being rough housed. I think he might make a real point with the refs to make them aware of Ward and clinching. I think this fight will be fought very evenly.. Possibly being near even going into the championship rounds.

Also, I'm wondering if Ward will even have an advantage in terms of fan support in AC.. I wouldn't be surprised if the crowd was a bit more pro Froch.

Oakland and AC are not close at all however it is significant that Ward has fought all his fights in his home country. However, per my previous post I wouldn't be surprised if more Froch supporters turned out for this one..

Ward schools him. Froch is just too crude, and Ward is way too technically savvy.

He's not just going to win, imo he's going to dominate.

His ring IQ is one of his best attributes.

I haven't seen a lot of Ward to be able to comment fairly enough on him.

But for Froch it depends what sort of game plan does he come into the fight with. Froch's got the slightly longer reach & he's got to make the most of that. Jab Wards head off, instead of looking for that one big punch like he did against Dirrell. Froch's boxing skills are under-rated & he shouldn't just be dismissed as crude.

Like I said I haven't seen much of him but from what the posters on here say about him, he has the more boxing skills.

If it becomes a tear up then Froch will probably take it. He can take a punch & can sure as hell give one.

still the same country. audley harrison won a gold medal aswell. kessler had a belt and still fought out of his country. i just dont like the fact that ward said " iv earned the right to fight at home"

Andre Ward is a PAMPERED OVER-PROTECTED PUSSY who needs to have all his fights in his home country so he can have a crooked referee who will permit him to DELIBERATELY HEADBUTT, HIT WHILE HOLDING AND HIT OFF THE BREAK.

                      My post from another thread.

Ward is very elusive and has shown he can adapt to any fighting style put in front of him. However, many, me included, find it hard to warm to his roughhouse tactics.

Technically, he is more superior then Froch, and has better handspeed and footwork. His intangibles are of an high quality.

Froch has shown time and time again, that no matter how many write him off, underdog or not, he will find a way to win. Through heart and sheer determination, it's hard to find a fighter that wants it more then him. He has great ring endurance, and he has shown to be far better skilled then credited for.

Many say his power is overrated and he hasn't put anyone away at the top, but fighting world class opposition one after another what is expected? He has one of the strongest resume's in the game right now going on the past 5-6 fights.

I believe this fight is going the distance, and i give the edge to Ward UD in a tough, hard fought battle. Stylistically, i just don't see Froch persuading the judges in the US if the fight goes all 12. Froch will not be a pushover for any dirty tactics, and he'll give as good as he gets.

If the fight does not go the distance in favour of Ward, i see it being similar to the Kessler fight and it'll be due to cuts. Froch has shown to get cut pretty easy in past fights and Ward would try to inflict as much damage to that area if it is to happen.

A Froch stoppage is possible. Froch usually outworks his opponents much more in the mid-to-late rounds, and Ward is there to be hit. He has been, and he will get hit. I think Froch is the stronger of the 2, and i think has better stamina. A late surge for a Froch TKO can't be written off. I don't think either men will get knocked out however.
