    Weight Class Tournaments??

First thing first, I must ask, wut do u all think of weight class tournaments?

IMO The Super 6 was amazing. And although it ran through it's fair share of bumps with people leaving, and a robbery or 2... But in the end, 2 tournament originals r in the finals... I look at it more like all the other guys in the tourney, barring Abraham and Dirrell, were merely foot soldier to throw at the main guys just to keep them fresh.

In the end, the 2 best guys in the division r fighting, and the winner will rightfully be the division champion. And even after, there r still fights that can be made in the weight class, and above...

Than there's the less impressive bantamweight tournament. The ending was inconclusive, but u did still get to see the top guys (if not exactly the BEST) in the division face off. I look at this tourney more like trying to find a worthy combatant for the TRUE king of the division, Nonito Donaire

Now here's the real question... Should every division, within the next few years, have one of these tournaments? It would get rid of all the ABC belt confusion and really give people stars to watch. Even if the winner of the tournament isn't exactly the most entertaining (if the most skillful, e.g. if Andre Ward were to win)...

If yes, who should fight in each division. Should it just be the top 10 guys rated on the ring ratings? Or should some wildcards that aren't getting their just due finally make their appearance....

And also if yes, which style of tournament (super 6 round by round, or single elimination) should be given to each class? Example, Floyd and Manny r #1 in at welterweight hands down. So the welterweight tournament would be best classified as a "who's the best opponent for the top dawg"... In that case, single elimination is best. But other divisions may not yet have a definite #1 yet, so they should have that super 6 round by round style so that everyone will have faced a minimum of 3 different opponents so we can really get an idea who's really #1

Anyway, let me know what u all think.... Don't be afraid.... Give ur opinion.... fuck the haters.
Working...
