Arum is just cashing out on Chavez. he knows he can't avoid Martinez forever but with this fight he knows the WBC will forget about the Martinez mandatory and say some BS like "Chavez vs Alvarez is a legendary fight"

Chavez will beat Manfredo, as long as Chavez is standing he will win that fight.

it's a garbage fight. of course Canelo will win and the moment Sergio Martinez mentions his name, Canelo will vacate the title. Then we'll see Martinez face Rubio for the title.

        Both are avoiding Martinez

BOTH of these Light Middle-Weight/Middle-Weights are avoiding SERGIO "The Bad-Ass" Martinez. Anyone who knows boxing knows its true.. and EVERYONE knows that CANELO's Manager is protecting him from his first loss.

Please tell me what fight you have seen that JCC Jr. has "impressed" you?

JCC Jr. has been dodging Canelo since before they became famous in the U.S. No matter how much most of you dislike Canelo because he is protected by GBP, he made a name for himself at such a young age and coming from Mexico (I hope most of you will appreciate how difficult that is).

Canelo himself would say early in his career, "I want Chavez Jr. so I can show the world that I earned my name with my hard work, not my last name."

First, both fighters are protected. JCC Jr. a lot more than Canelo. Second, when and to who did Canelo lose?

Haha wtf?, where have you been living, Chavez all this last year has been challenging Canelo for a fight, and Canelo just said that he was not interested because he had better fights

Honestly I was looking forward to the Canelo-Gomez fight so I could get more answers about how good he is coming off the Rhodes fight but instead I was left with even more questions.. I had never seen Canelo that gun shy before, he barley let his hands go at all.. Could it be his training in big bear is doing more harm then good to his 21yr old developing body? are his handlers meddling in PEDS? Does he fold under constant pressure? I don't know but I do know If he goes in fighting all cautious like that against Chavez he may get outworked imo, not that Chavez is such a good fighter cuz he's not but at the same time he is waay bigger and taller than Canelo so If he senses that Canelo is any bit shook by him it will give him confidence and he will begin to slowly pumble Canelo using his output and imposing himself physically on him ..that Chavez is one big boy..

Lately, they have been calling each other out. However, as I mentioned in my previous post, Canelo was calling him out early in his career and Jr. would run and hide from him - irrelevant now, I know. Was an FYI.

Furthermore, calling Canelo out? At what weight class (you get my point)? Jr.'s daddy pulled a Mayweather when asked about Canelo, "My son doesn't need Canelo, but if the fight happens we will welcome it." Come on buddy, I think Canelo has made JCC Jr. more famous. Who has sold more tickets? So who really needs who?
