Well Mayweather was struggling against Castillo. But that's not my point. Of course this was not meant As a direct comparison but rather intended to illustrate the beautiful combination of defensive and offensive skills inherent in Pirog.

Come back to the states make your name and then you can return to your native country. Beating Jacobs only helped him among the hardcore types. A couple more appearances on american tv and he will have a name.

The poster who calle for pirog and golovkin is spot on. Make that fight please.

I don't blame sergio one bit for not giving a few of these former soviet fighters a shot. Some are very dangerous and sergio deserves to get paid

I thought this was Vanes Martirosyan, but then I realized he doesn't have as big as balls as his brother. Oh wait, they're not brothers they just have the same last name. My bad.

Martinez deserves as much blame as anyone else sitting in a division not unifying it. Floyd & Pacman are not fighting you. Clean out 160 & retire. I would love for you to beat those guys, but their promoted well & have fans that support anything they do. He's turning into them without the fanbase. Pirog is a champ, Martinez should have rid him of his strap & send him on his way like a good boy.

Good that Pirog is going to be back in action.

He should be fighting more often, though, at least three times a year.

I haven't seen Martirosyan before, looks kind of similar to Abraham -- with a better workrate and a little more agile.

Likewise, he has to be a bit more defensive with a skillful Pirog though.

And? That was Castillo, a Hall of Famer.

Pirog was struggling against JAVIER FRANCISCO MACIEL!
