Ortiz did try to change it up in the 4th round and Floyd was assessing and adjusting. You missed that?

And the fact that you feel as though because Ortiz did better in round 4 than the other rounds means that he was somehow in place to win the fight shows that YOU are not "educated enough" to assess boxing period.

You wear your ignorance on your sleeve. When you factor in that Ortiz was getting dirty, got a point deducted and was ****** enough to try and have a conversation in the middle of a match where the ref had restarted the match, it would lead one that actually watches boxing to believe that things were going downhill much faster for Ortiz than in any other round. Same **** happened with Zab Judah.

You probably didn't see that either.

    It doesn't matter.

You don't have to like Mayweather, but he's your champion.
what you missed is Floyd hitting air and leather for much of the fourth round.

Victors High guard was very effective in the 4th round.

Here watch it again. Victor was hitting the cleaner crispier more lethal shots.

And it wasn't down hill for victor it was up hill actually.

If it was victor winning the 1st and then losing the 2nd,3rd,4th fight then that's downhill, but Victor was going up. 4th round was his round so he was actually building confidence.

Who knows who would have won without the cheap shot. We could have gotten a good fight.

This is the actually fight wether its you tube or hbo or your mama made it. Floyd's ass got whooped in the 4th.

all in slowmo so your eyes won't get strained. Easier to see, Spoiling you really easy viewing

Jesus ****! I have never seen a bigger ****** then Spoon. "Ortiz blocked almost all of Floyds punches. He was frustrating him with his high guard" .
Victor Ortiz lands 2 punches in his last flurry and that gives him the round?
Anyone who gave that round to Ortiz got to be mentally ******ed or a complete *******.
I'm getting embarrassed for you guys seriously.
Okay We get it, you hate Floyds guts and don't have a ounce of objectivity in your body. Are you bu'tt hurt over Ortiz loss?

I counted 11 punches landed for Ortiz, compu box had it at 9 (gave ortiz the benefit of the doubt, some semi clean punches was included).
Floyd landed around 19-20 of what I counted, compubox had more. (didn't score semi landed punches and didn't barely counted jab)
This was a clear Floyd round.
BTW, if any of you didn't realize one of those flurries was a replay LOOOOL.
I was generous and counted 4 punches in one flurry landing for Ortiz.

        End/tread

Ortiz was wining rd 4 IMO, but it was clear that Mayweather was in control. Too bad they had to play dirty. I wanted to see the rest of that fight.

Obviously FLoyd won the 4th round, he was in complete control of the fight, was landing all his shots while avoiding Most of ortiz's and he had Ortiz backing up.

Also in the beginning of the round , floyd unloaded with picture perfect money combinations like I haven't seen from him in years- they all landed and did more damage than all of ortiz's punches together in the entire fight.

I think when this happened, ortiz realized he had no chance because floyd doesnt get tired, floyd doesnt stop landing, and ortiz couldn't hurt him to slow him down. I think this is why ortiz paniced and tried to headbutt him, and was still so paniced after the headbutt that he didn't know what to do, that's why he got hit and that's why he couldn't get up, when any real boxer would have gotten up from that punch.

Mosley didn't even flinch in the late rounds when floyd sucker punched him, but he wasn't looking for a way out.

i don't like floyd at all and can't wait for the day he's rolling around on the canvas. (looks like it's gonna be awhile, if ever) but he won the 4th round and then got an extra point. Vic was not going to win the fight but it looked like it may have been a decent fight and mayweather was gonna have to take some leather.
looked like to me the reason victor was headbutting is because of the holding and he just got carried away trying to get mayweather off of him so I'm not one that will hold it against him too bad.
mayweather on the other hand will win at all cost and it made me hate him even more. He cheated the public out of a decent fight with that little display.what a damn punk! whoever fights him next should go for a glove tap and come up with a punch just for the hell of it. when your fighting mayweather you better not respect his ass one bit.

Secondly, in the 4th Round, Ortiz was dictating the action, he was the "effective aggressor" in that he was throwing and landing the cleaner more effective punches in that particular round, as he had Mayweather up against the ropes and was letting his hands go.

Personally I think Ortiz was just getting warmed up. Unfortunately, he also let his head go along with his hands - a terrible move....
Agree with both of these. I will have to watch it again but IIRC an arguement can definitely be made for thinking Ortiz was winning it. And this thread is a fail. Not only is the TS relying on a wrong compubox, but this is also a repeat thread.

When backing Floyd up he still barely landed if you watch it in slow motion you'll realize that, Mayweather won each round.

Mayweather bossed the fight for most of the round landing clean, Ortiz backs him up twice whilst still not landing that much and you say Ortiz won the round?
