Who Deserves a Shot at Floyd First: Martinez or Khan?

For me it's definitely Martinez especially if he dismantles Barker as I expect. Khan has talent, but is relatively inexperienced and has not even proven himself at 147 yet. He definitely deserves a shot at Floyd at some point if he continues to win, but Martinez is ready now and isn't getting any younger.

In fact I think if Cotto convincingly beats Margarito that he may in fact deserve a shot before Khan given his resume and experience.

I know Khan is the biggest draw in terms of money, but a Martinez-Mayweather fight would still bring in tons of cash.

Floyd moved up to 154 against De La Hoya and was just fine. Martinez is willing to go down to 150, so Floyd should really be able to fight Martinez if he wants to.

            Martinez.

But Floyd isn't making any noises that he wants this fight so until he does it's a moot point unfortunately.

really don't see a reason of Floyd moving to 154 for a Martinez fight at MW I understand but 154 Martinez brings nothing to the table no money no prestige

Hopefully the floyd fanatics don't go crazy if Pacquiao accepts the fight with Martinez at 150. All Floyd has to do is call Martinez after the Barker fight and the fight is on at any weight between 150-160.

                  Deserves: Martinez

                  Money: Khan

                  Money wins.

I wonder if Khan will fight at 147 before the Mayweather fight.

It definitely brings prestige and it should defnitely bring in more money than the Ortiz-Mayweather fight. Martinez is a top P4P fighter who puts on entertaining fights.
