I've always felt the same way. I think that yes, it was a fight and Mike made a decision right there how he was going to handle a situation. It was illegal, and it was the kind of thing that gets you in trouble.
The issue of course was money, because a lot of people paid good money to see a conclusive ending, not ear biting. And also, people are never prepared to see ears being bitten off.
Mike has taken a lot of crap over the years for it from the media, and I think it's because he's an easy target.Comment
