How would you defend or counter Wifebeater's left elbow ?

This thread isn't about whether Wifebeater's elbow is legal or illegal. It's about defending or countering Wifebeater's elbow. He usually uses it as a bar, and you can disagree all you want, but from time to time he uses to strike with it as well.

How would you defend or counter this or how would you attack to negate his elbow from the get go..

2. Which arm will be the one digging to the body ?

The problem with digging to the body, is that Wifebeater is quick to counter it with an elbow to the side of your head. Once he sees you about to dip and dig to his body, up comes the side elbow. Just watch the Wifebeater - Ortiz fight. Wifebeater's elbow is ****ed and ready to go, lol

If i were Wifebeater's opponent, I'd counter him with my own elbow, hmm

Man, you're like the third poster to bring up inside body work. I mean, pretty much all his opponents find out that it ain't that easy, or their approach doesn't work.

You can't just go to the body. Pretty much all of Wifebeater's opponents who try to dig to the body get clocked with left hooks and left elbows to their noggin'. Try again, thank you for your input though.
