I say it so easily because of what I saw. Ortiz breaking down mentally and making several attempts to cheat wasn't a mirage. Ortiz standing right in front of Mayweather then backing straight back with his hands down wasn't a mirage. Ortiz getting hit with the left hand then inexplicably looking at the ref and taking a right hand instead of putting his hands up to fight wasn't a mirage. Ortiz looking as if he could have gotten up wasn't a mirage. Ortiz smiling immediately after the fight wasn't a mirage. Obviously I'm not Ortiz and don't know what exactly was going on in his head and heart, but from what I saw I think it's reasonable to say that he had had enough at that point.
