    Has Rahman had a prime?

Most fighters have a stretch of fights where you can look at and say "this was so and so's prime" but does Rock have a period where you can reflect on and say, here it is?

Chris Byrd is a ***** but he definately had a period where he was at his absolute best...if I had to pinpoint a time when Rock was at his best it was before he ko'd Lewis (actually when he got ko'd after the bell by Tua).

Are there any other examples of fighters who appear to be prime less? Is Rock still trying to find himself or is it too late or has it already come and gone or is he the man that landed 1 right hand and the rest of his career **** all over himself?

His problem is that he's way to incosistent..

He has never had a prime, and don't look like he's about to have one.

His prime was that one second he landed that punch on Lewis.

Hasim Rahman still being a "player" is just another jarring piece of evidence pointing to the heavy division royally sucking.

Hasim Rahman has a very good chance at beating Vitali...if he is in good condition.

The only prime that fat boy has had is a prime beef steak. If Rahman was born outside the US he would have been squandering around the bottom 50 by now... how many chances can one guy get off a four-year-old punch?

Probably the closest is the period sandwiched between his KO losses to Maskaev and Lennox, where he stopped Sanders, Swindell and Lewis back-to-back-to-back.

I personally feel you are going to see Rahman fight like a man possesed against Vitali. I favor Vitali, but it's not going to be a Danny Williams II. Vitali is going to be pressured and hit and will have to be able to fight going backwards and hurt Rahman to slow him down. I think you'll see the Rahman that came out against Meehan, rather than the one going through the motions against Barrett.
