i'm not gonna lie, before the fight, i didn't think Floyd would stop him but after the first few rounds, the writing was on the wall...Ortiz was dumbfounded by Floyd's defense and was even more shook by the offensive attack that he put on

Floyd fans and haters waited what? 16 months to see him perform?

the KO was there...THAT version of Floyd was ruthless and i didn't see him 'coasting' to a points win ala JMM and Mosely...in fact, that was the version of Floyd from the lower weight classes...the version that made me a fan a looooooong time ago

the brutal combo that he unleashed early in the 4th was scary...a few more of those for as long as Ortiz could take it would have been the dominant KO statement that his fans clamor for and the Floyd haters would have had NOTHING to say

had he continued to beat the living crap out of Ortiz for a few more rounds and THEN getting a non-controversial stoppage in dominating fashion would have really done more for him IMO
stop lying to yourself. Ortiz wasn't going to get stopped. Ortiz had FLoyds ass on the ropes because he staggered him with a short right hook. Then Floyd was on the ropes doing his D and Ortiz was throwing punches, maybe only hitting 1 or 2 punches every 5 or 6 but still, Oriz was scoring. I would of had the fight even because Ortiz took the 2nd round and was on his way to taking the 4th if he didn't do the ****** headbutt.

No matter how you twist it Ortiz is an idiot that cant follow rules

      Thank you.

Clearly. But that's the point of throwing punches with the proverbial "bad intentions" at another man's head, isn't it? Of course, in Floyd's case, there was a little added gusto.

Mayweather did indeed have the right to crack Ortiz in the jaw; the ref had indicated to resume action. This is an accepted fact. Unfortunately for Victor, he was so painfully sorry for what his transgression, that he apparently missed what Floyd did not.

professional boxing. The same professional boxing who already has its own drug policy on testing fighters that have caught fighters int he past like vargas, toney, jones jr, mosely. The same drug policy test that would have caught pacquiao by now if he was roiding lol. Your an idiot. Clear and simple. Somebody isn't going to make extra rules unless they are "scared of them" next mayweather is going to say the fight cant have any head shots. "sign the fight pacquiao, but no head shots are allowed." then *****s are going to say "pac is ducking again" you guys are embarrassing

one has the right to refuse something that is not required by any authorities...

the way floyd did hit vic earned the boos and dismay of the fans...

don't compare an unsupported accusation to a very unsportsmanlike act....

lying to myself? dude, i had bets on here that Vic wasn't getting stopped...but after the first few rounds, it was only a matter of time

it was only 3 rounds and he was busted up already...seemed like Floyd had GPS on Ortiz's face and was landing at will...couple that with the fact that Floyd was letting his hands go more than usual, brutality would have ensued and eventually a KO win...whether he gets the pure KO or his corner stops it, Floyd woulda got it...there was nothing Vic was gonna do

it was kinda shameful seeing a 164lb 'champ' in the ring getting walked down and back pedalling

For the life of me I can not see how people know it's within the rules and still say it's wrong. There is no moral substandard about what's right and wrong within a sport where there are rules. If no rules were broken, then what is actually wrong?? That's why I see a majority of guys who have stepped inside the squared circle agree with Floyd, and a bunch of arm chair boxers who have to wait another 16 months for someone to shut Floyd up calling foul....on something that's fair.
