Definitely a tactic. No doubt Garcia told him if Floyd is going to use his elbows than you're going to use your head.

I think he did it in the Berto fight as well.

I seriously believe that pressing your head against Floyd was a planned tactic. But that jumping headbutt was a spur of the moment kinda frustration reaction.

But I don't care about that minor bull**** tho, Ortiz not protecting himself is the ******est tactic I have ever seen.

from the 1st round on he was using his damn head fighting dirty as hell......Floyd never complained tho..But watch the fight it's clear as ****ing day

I didn't see it as close to be honest. I saw some rounds where Ortiz did well at times but Mayweather did more or was more effective at what he did

the headbutts were non stop and the last one just the most blatant

They watched the Hatton fight and saw how dirty Floyd was inside so decided to fight fire with fire, unfortunately Vic got a little carried away.
