I feel mayb he was gesturing to "bring it on" but even IF he attempted to draw in a "fake" hug attempt...its not much different than a fake jab to bait the person your fighting to make a move etc...its a cat and mouse game..its a "war" to say

watch it again dummy, floyd didn't even want to touch gloves, he did it begrudgingly, from the moment cortez said let's go floyd has his hands up in a boxing position, ortiz ran in and touched floyd's gloves than mayweather puts his hands up and is ready to box, ortiz hugs him, floyd doesn't hug back, mayweather kinda shoves ortiz off him, ortiz takes a step back, left hook, straight right, lights out

Floyd tricked Ortiz into letting his guard down, it was a sneaky and low-class move.

Floyd sets a poor example for the sport, with this and his other bad behavior: his assaulting his ex-wife, his calling for Merchant to be fired, his losing his temper with security guards, his slandering Pacquiao, etc.

floyd put his hands up. victor walked up with this hands down and open for a hug. floyd did embrace him to say its ok but hand his hands up the WHOLE time.

dont twist whats on tape, the facts are there. Victor should have had his hands up. floyd didnt trick him at all. Ortiz was just an idiot for walking up to a guy he just headbutted with his hands down
