    What about Mosley/Gatti?

Shane Mosley vs. Arturo Gatti at 147. I was pondering matchups tonight. What do you guys think about this match-up? possibly something there..both guys coming off some big-name losses

    At the moment....

I'd say Mosley by a hard fought fight..
    Scorecard 8-4 with close rounds..

That would be a fight with two big names but I think Arturo is overmatched in that as well.

I don't think Main Events will put him in there with Sugar Shane anytime soon.

And other than that, I expect alot more bigger fights for Shane than Arturo Gatti.

He needs to either fight Judah or Margarito in his next two fights.

Mosley at this point does not stand a chance against Tony or Zab IMO..

I respect your opinion but I think it might be closer fight with both than you might expect.

But regardless or not if he's ready, he has to fight them. He's not getting any better and he needs to ditch these tune-ups and go for the big fights.

IMO, it's all mental with Shane right now. He's looking for that confidence but he will only get it back by beating a big time opponent.

see, that's why the idea for the fight came to me, they're both still really looking to prove that they can still be successful in the ring, despite their losses. I do understand how it might be difficult to 'make' the fight tho.

                  I agree actually.

They both need to get back on track.

Shane is to fast and Shane takes a good punch..Shane would get to Gatti early and stop him.
