    Why is Dawson B-Hop ppv?

I don't want to hear that a flopped. I don't think too many boxing fans are interested in what B-Hop does for the sport. If he wins, he's easily fighter of the year & further adds to what he's done at his age by defending against another young elite lightheavyweight.

I love this fight, but I don't understand why it's PPV. It won't be exciting, and it won't get great numbers, unless Hopkins has a lot more fans than I think.

That's not the only fight Hbo over paid for.

But people wanted to see Bradley Alexander bad so you can't blame Hbo there.

Yeah, B-Hop's fan base is small, a little too small for as great as he is, it's a shame really because as far as I'm concerned he's easily the greatest of all active fighters. Do they even get a 24/7?

Boxing promoters won't rest until EVERY fight is ppv. They're well on their way...

I'm sure their budget is maxed already for Mayweather, Cotto and Pacquaio. Plus they had other rising stars like Gamboa, also Martinez and of course Berto earlier.

I kind figured this one would be PPV. I can't think they can afford to pay Hop 3-4 millies, plus a millie to Dawson (*note, I do not know their purse) and the undercard, which I hope is exemplary.

If this fight sells 150K-200K, then they'll make between 9-12 million. I don't think that is too bad

I'm not sure the fight will sell though. B-Hop shoulda taken this fight to showtime, I'm sure they would capp it easy.
