I don't know what fight this dumb ass writer who wrote this article saw, but the fight was pretty even, yes Floyd was ahead a little on points, but Ortiz was feeling him out, getting rid of the mentor/pupil issue. He started applying pressure realizing he could get in and be effective, but just over-reacted.

It was clear that Ortiz worked the butts into his fightplan. He probably thought he could use them if floyd uses the elbow. The problem is that Floyd doesnt launch his elbow into the other persons face. He uses it to block shots and push the other guy away when they get in close. Ortiz's usage of the butt was so blatant its laughable that he would call it an accident at first. After the Gatti and Mosley incident who would seriously drop their hands in front of floyd now.
