What none of these threads are saying

First of all let me state clearly that I am huge fan of both Floyd and Pacquiao, got nothing against Ortiz but I was rooting against him because I grew up watching Floyd move up in weight and it's exciting for me to see him in with big guys at 147. That being said I'm a little sour about that happened last night. I'm not saying it's Floyd's fault, if anything it's Ortiz fault for coming into the fight he dreamed about since age 9 and then start fouling before the mid-way point. I have an old school mentality on fouling, if someone fouls you in a non-friendly bout then you foul them back to let them know your not a doormat. Ortiz lost his cool on the big stage and then bout fell apart but even so, I'm not gonna be a punk and lay the blame game. The truth is I'm just mad cause it was exciting as hell, I got on here everyday reading threads and getting pumped up and it the fight didn't live up to the hype once again.

Ortiz lost control of his emotions, Floyd did what I'm sure as hell Jack Dempsey would do. There was some deception involved, but he waited until the ref motioned them together. I wanna give props to Floyd, and props for Ortiz for giving it a good shot and being respectful ( maybe too respectful even ) in defeat but as a boxing fan I wish I could've seen it end in much more "orthodox" way. I predicted Floyd would TKO on cuts in the last 3 rounds, and if the fight had continued the way it was going without the headbutting I probably would've been dead-on in my prediction

Fans deserve a rematch to see this match of styles, which are obviously exciting. yay or nay

even if you think vic gets KOed again, don't you want to see this controversy erased with a good old fashioned whooping? those who think ortiz was going to catch up with floyd, don't you want to see him get the shot?

The way i see it, u gotta embrace the unpredictability of this sport. I preferred this bizarre ending to a 12 round UD for Floyd.
I like the fact he made Ortiz pay for the head butt, and knocked him the *** out. Caused so much controversy, showed his ruthlessness. For me it was all good. Looked like Floyd was gonna win and give Ortiz a beating. And with Floyd there is rarely any drama or excitement.

And i normally hate floyd and wanted Ortiz to win. I was left feeling how much i love boxing. The brutal art.

I actually am probably the only person who enjoyed the KO and the way it happened, after the watching Shane and Pac touch gloves and hug it out for 12 rounds I was happy to see Floyd put an end to this touchy feely bull**** that doesn't belong in the ring. Especially considering the flagrant nature of the foul.

The fight was very entertaining but it was clear Floyd was outclassing Vic, Ortiz was gonna in a few rounds and was in the midst of one of his mental breakdowns and was looking for a way out, hence the butts. If there was a rematch I'd watch it but there are other fights out there for Floyd I'd be much more interested in seeing.

Not interested in a rematch. Floyd needs a real challenge if he thinks he is the GOAT.
Only Pac can offer him a decent fight at WW.

Floyd needs to step up and take on Sergio at 154. I dont understand why people arent calling for that fight.
