Even if he didn't sell out the arena. The revenue for the gate is going to be higher than any other fight.

If he was REALLY the star of the show (like he claimed he is) the arena wouldve been sold out looooong ago. Thats the point.
And yeah you better hope and pray he does over 1 mill on PPV. Cuz after what happened nobody's gonna spend money to watch that sucker punching shyt head.Last edited by tdubb; 09-19-2011, 09:12 PM.

Fight-night attendance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena was 14,687; well short of a sellout.
It didn't sellout...... oh well.
You act like 14,687 sold seats is a bad thing.
The gate $$$ was massive buddy.
The PPV sales are massive buddy.
That means all in all the fight was a huge success.
Plus Mayweather was fighting a guy who never fought on PPV and never sold alot of tickets himself.
To sell 14,687 with Ortiz as your opponent is damn good if you ask me.
You haters hate on every little thing.
If your gonna hate on something about Floyd, hate on something else.
Not his drawing power because he is the biggest star in boxing.
The guy makes 40 million a fight and your talking about how many tickets he sold?
Alot of the hardcore fans can't go to Vegas and spend all that money on flights, tickets to the fight, hotel, etc.
Thats why PPV is so important.
Thats why Floyds PPV numbers are through the roof.
Hate on you f-cking hater.
