Lederman had Floyd winning 2 out of the first 3 rounds. It was a rather close fight.
Unfortunately, Floyd "SUCKER PUNCH" Mayweather's unethical act of hitting an unsuspecting opponent with a DIRTY PUNCH ended the fight in a way that left more questions than answers.
Hence, we will never know what the REAL OUTCOME of the fight would have been. True, Floyd was hitting his opponent with his feather fisted right hand, but the opponent was never affected by it by any stretch of the imagination.
Predictably, the *****S would claim "Floyd would have dominated him anyway" but that would be mere speculation - a FANTASY FIGHT hypothesis.
More rational minds would claim that Ortiz would have eventually caught up with Floyd - but that would be mere fantasy fight speculation too.
Mayweather essentially turned a real fight into a FANTASY FIGHT thanks for his cheating. Had Wifebeater not cheated we would now be discussing the fight based on actual outcomes not hypothesis.
Unfortunately, enough damage was done to Ortiz with that SUCKER PUNCH that he will surely be a weaker fighter if and when Mayweather won't be too cowardly with regards to a possible re-match.
