I saw the fight and I was rooting for Ortiz to give us a good show. I am still in amazement of the outcome. As a fan I was upset with losing out on another 3-5 rounds of exciting action. I thought the first 4 rounds were better then any Floyd fight I had seen in years. Right after Ortiz jumped up and head butted Floyd against the ropes I was like oh no! I saw the Berto fight and noticed how Ortiz was using his head in that fight as well.

So to make a statement as a fan I was upset as a man I understood. Ortiz could have done some serious damage with that head butt to Floyd and cause a stoppage of the fight himself. So Floyd took an opportunity and gave Ortiz a 2 piece that ended his night. As for the rest of the crap Cortez is done they should never see his fair but firm face again

My statement as a fan is Floyd being the elite technician he is should have gave him that first left hook and then told him to kiss his ass not his cheek and then continued in the next round and opened up. I would have loved to see that. It is what it is and as a fan I am upset......LEFTY

for floyd to make that statement " protect yourself at all times" means he knew that KO wasnt legit. There was nothing wrong in what he did but he knew ortiz wasnt ready otherwise why would he say "protect yourself at all times"?

i agree that floyd should've just given ortiz that left hook as if to say "i can fight dirty as well". i believe floyd would've finished ortiz within the next three rounds after that.

however, floyd probably didn't know how "china" vic's chin is and wouldn't have predicted that straight right would've knocked his ass out for good

I don't think he knew those punches would knock him out? I personally think Ortiz quit. It seems as of he didn't want to get up.

ortiz was losing the fight and after the headbutt and being called out on then getting knock down by floyd probably just embarassed him to the point where he didnt wanna get up so he can throw the fight off and blame it on that, but ortiz failed to realized that by him doing this, it just makes it look even worst on him LOL..

I strongly disagree my friend I think the fight was competitive and Ortiz was hurting Floyd with the right hand to the body. Floyd was winning and probably would have stopped Ortiz on cuts or by TKO and accumulation of punishment but Ortiz was giving him something to chew on. terrible for the fans it was going to get better after that.....LEFTY
