how TF does one boxer steal a fanbase of another boxer?
the boxer himself can either increase fanbase or lose fanbase for various reason(s).
in FRAUDS case, if he feels like he is losing fanbase, he has himself to blame (ie, sucka punched ortiz...scumbag move)

Mayweather's fan base consist mostly of people who pay money to see him lose. Which is why in his hometown of Vegas, every sold out arena that he fought, had more fans cheering against him, and hoping he lost. Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, all had more fans in the arena than Floyd. That is sad.

Mayweather however has to understand that this is his own doing. he chose to be the heel, he chose to be the bad guy, so he can't complain now, and be angry because Manny Pacquiao gets love, and all he gets is hate.

You want to know why you're in a no win situation Floyd? Because you put yourself there. You and your antics made it impossible for fans to like you.

You have to remember that Manny started off in the lower weight class. In america only welterweight and up is really recognized unless if you are a real I mean real boxing fan. The casual fan doesnt follow the lower weight class. So when Manny started moving up then everyone started paying attention to him. It wasnt because of mayweather. You can probably put to the Morales and Barrera fights. Those are really what put him on the national map. Its plain and simple. Most people would rather watch an exciting fast tempo fight where peeps are getting KO'd then a slow paced not so thrilling fight that ends up in decision. Its just the nature of the beast. You have to respect Mayweathers game though. He is skilled. But to say that pac is stealing his fans is just him still not seeing the whole picture. If he is losing fans to pac then thats on him. You cant blame pac for being exciting and trying to knock peeps out everytime he goes out there. He might as well ask pac to just fight like him.
