what vic did was inexcusable, but he paid for it by getting a point deducted. whether floyd's cheap shots were legal or not doesn't take away from the fact that they were CHEAP SHOTS. ortiz had his hands down, his feet squared and clearly was not prepared and neither was cortez by the way he was staring off somewhere and then suddenly snapped back into the fight once ortiz's ass was on the canvas.

Have anyone heard of a little known guy called Harry Greb.
I know he wasn't anything special or anything just a top 10 ATG.
He was one of the dirtiest SOB boxing has ever seen.
Lowblows, head butts, you name it, he did anything to get the win.

Jack Dempsey, also a very unknown guy back when he fought.
Know to do punch during breaks, knocked a guy out when the guy had his hands down talking to the ref after a low blow.
In his book he even explains how to use dirty tactics.
He was know to take advantage of a ref's blind side.
He was even suspected of using loaded gloves by multiple opponents.
That guy was a bum, what did he ever do?
Just was the undisputed HW champion for years.

If I went through the hard training camps that these athletes have to go through, my mentality would be to win at all costs, even if it's unsportsmanlike or getting a little dirty ala Hopkins. That would always be my main objective, to win.

Thing is, what Floyd did isn't new, don't expect a fighter who gets treated like crap by the media to be some warm hearted guy.

I'm blown away that people are crying about Mayweather, and giving Ortiz a pass for the headbutt. The headbutt was illegal. The punches weren't. Not to mention, Ortiz was repeatedly using his head.

You guys aren't boxing fans. Not in the least bit. You're just haters of certain fighters.

If I wanted to take the time to do it, I could put several of these morons on blast. A TON of the people crying about Mayweather's "sucker punch" were the same people praising Arthur Abraham for what he did to Andre Dirrell. And then making it out to be Dirrell's fault.

it wasn't even a sucker punch... Ref brought them to the center of the ring it was go time... He was in a boxing match and he punched the guy in front of him that's what he was supposed to do. What your not supposed to do in a boxing match is head butt your opponent and your definitely not supposed to do is leave your guard down under any circumstances.
