    This is a perfect example of why it's probably not worth debating with some people here.

    You don't think ortiz was a cherry pick?

    Cotto, Maragarito, Clottey, Mosley - you classify those as mayweather's leftovers?

    Please - mayweather has yet to fight 3 of them - and the other one pac probably beat more convincingly than mayweather.

          my take on this whole b.s. fight is that Ortiz was already frustrated and if you look at the fight, floyd had already used his elbows luike a pro a few times, however ortiz kept rubbing his head on floyd's face and was responsible for the street fighactions of mayweather. Now I am a puerto rican man and fellow countryman Joe Cortez really blew this one, he had no control of this fight at all. You see; after the headbutt he pealized ortiz, he had sent floyd to the neutral corner and floydleft and began pacing back & forth angling and scheming and understandably so because he was furious, cortez should have ordered floyd to the corner again, but nevermind that, following such an awful occurrence by ortiz and the point deduction an experienced ref would have grabbed both fighters and warn to cut it out and fight instead of worrying about the time because legal or not it was a cheap shot.

              I hate guys like Ortiz, he purposely head butted Mayweather then wanted to hug and kiss him. Not something a real man would do. Im glad Floyd knocked him out.
              wtf you talking about, he did hug him and he punched Ortiz as he pulled away.

                all though i believe now more than ever that floyd will beat pac, i also believe pac will test floyd like no one else has done before, fans on here from either side act as if their hero will destroy and that the opponent is some sort of unproven bum. I've ad my questions about pac and found it to be strange on how destructable he has become, but why is floyd so caught up with all the testing b.s. and its larglely in part due to the fact that he is worried, and probably worried over nothing because i see a damn great fighter offensively and defensively. floyd needs to understand that if this fight does not happen and i mean happen like spring 2012 at the latest, he will not get deserved credit, and somehow pac will. race may play big here, but race should not make you this arrogant, money hungry and money loving fool that needs to praise his accomplishments as well as defend them. and i believe he does that because he himself has doubts in his mind that he will never confess to anyone not even his closest friend. if he really believed he was as great as he claims to be, talks would be done by critics and fans. yes pac has fought alot of the fighters tha floyd did before and some years before, however, he did what he had to do to them. I dont go by all the talk that floyd beats them and pac destroys them, because they are different fighters. can you say that what jordan did was better than what bill russel did, no, they were both legeds in different ways, both dominated the game incredibly. keep in mind that floyd could have fought Cotto when he was undefeated and dangerous, (even though it would not have mattered), but he didn't claiming that cotto did not bring enough money to the table, first of all you are not a promoter but a fighter who claims to be the best and fight the best, and second you went ahead to fight Baldomir so how much did he bring, really? then when he retired he claimed he done it all and fought them all but cotto was there as well as margarito and paul williams and Clottey and atleat two of those would have said alot more about your talents, because while you have fought alot, the opposition hasn't been great, fighting cotto, Marg or Williams at that time would have been the most significant fight since corrales and castillo. Had floyd beat ortiz the way it wa going merchant would have given credit cuz it would have been deserved, but the more important questions at the moment were why go that rout when u would have looked that much better by whipping the disrespectful opponent, and the fall-out also had to do with avoiding the pac questions that were eventually coming. and like i said earlier, i believe floyw will outclass pac because he is that much better but dont wait to do it when ac looks old and washed up, do it now, say f&*k the test and do it, don't give people a reason to say u were ok but not legendary like those before you. i dislike you as a person and i love your whole boxing genius, but you see pac is already getting more credit than you for the way he has gone about his business and you're trailing him as far as public opinion goes and only you can change that and it must be today not tomorrow

                  Haven't you notice how Floydie really hates Senior citizens in Boxing?

                  He put to shame his own namesake Father in front of camera;

                  Put to shame Larry Merchant;

                  Criticize and insult another old man in Boxing - Bob Aum!

                  So who's next?

                      it was a semi hug because floyd had already angled ortiz for the kill, floyd took a cheap cheap shot, but thinking about it, his anger at that moment was up the sky and he knows all about the street tactics, ortiz also got caught in the moment of frustration and could have really hurt floyd, but he was penalized, but what was really strange was that nevermind that ortiz look like he was relieved that the fight was over, but the fact that his corner did not jump on mayweather , the ref or any official for that matter was disturbing. my fighter gets ko'd during the biggest fight of his career in the way he did was more than enough to file a protest and ***** and complain even if it were legal punches and he started by headbutting, he is my fighter and we do whatever to either win or get it right, but not accept defeat so humbly and that was puzzling
