IMO All three played there part in this. Cortez, WTF you playing at? Surely call in time and then instruct the fighters to box on and just ensure your fighters are no way engaged before calling in time. He missed both punches, regardless of what he was doing that **** shouldn't happen. Floyd sucker punched Ortiz no doubt. He was maybe just within his rights to do so (defend yourself at all times however it was a cheap a** move.

However what was more intersting to me was Ortiz reaction afterwards, his willingness to accept it and not demand a rematch. The fact that he tried that rediculous headbutt. It was just a very strange ending and one that left me going from "fair enough you tried to butt him but Floyd sucker punched you, rematch for sure" to forming the impression "**** Ortiz, you made critical error in dropping your guard but if your goning to come out with 'it was a good experience" talk after that then I have no interest in watching you again let alone a rematch, find yourself a sport you can handle".

Funny I told everyone the fight was going to end in some type of controversy due to the fact that Cortez was the ref. I never want to see him ref. another big fight, also I wish the WBC reverses the decision.
